Roll and cylinder plating

Rolls demand the same quality across their entire face. By controlling current distribution along long cylinders, we aim for a uniform surface from end to end.

Before After

Drawings are representative and will be replaced with real project photos.

01Benefits

What it delivers

  • Uniform surface

An even deposit along the face means even contact in printing, winding and laminating.

  • Long service life

The hard face withstands abrasion from paper, film, textiles and sheet metal.

  • Easy cleaning

Ink, adhesive and residue cling less to a chrome face.

  • Renewable surface

A worn roll can be stripped and re-plated again and again.

What we plan for

Current distribution
On long faces, anode placement is tuned per roll to keep the ends from building up.
Journals
Bearing journals are masked or plated separately, as required.

04 FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01 Will my roll fit your tank?

Our tank measures 1,400 × 3,000 × 1,000 mm and takes parts up to 3,000 kg. For rolls close to these limits, send us your drawing and we’ll assess it together.

02 How should the roll be shipped?

Rolls are plated at our facility. We include our recommendation for a cradle or crate that protects the journals with the quote.
